Natural Gas Barbeque

Only a few things are more embarrassing to a backyard grillmaster than their gas running out in the middle of a barbeque with family and friend. Don't lie to yourself we all have been there before. Everything is running smoothly and your family and friends are starting with burgers and hot dogs while they wait for the steaks. You pick up your beer and take a swig and then look down to see the flames have been extinguished. You're all out of propane!

You're hoping that you have another tank of fuel in the garage or the shed. It's bad enough that you have to run around swapping out the old propane tank for a new one in the middle of a party. To make matters worse not only has your gas run out but as your trying to find a new tank your guests stand around with grumbling bellies. Also, as time passes the grill cools down and you realize you've thrown off the cooking time of the meat so you'll never get it "just right" now.

I think it's high time you ditch that old propane tanks and go with a natural gas barbeque? Natural gas barbeques have many benefits over propane. One of the main benefits is that you will never run out of gas again. No need to worry if your gas will last the party. Also, natural gas is far cheaper than propane and depending on where you live, you could save and extra 50%, or more, by switching to natural gas and natural gas barbeque grills are cleaner and better for the environment.

Nearly any propane grill can be easily converted to natural gas. There are many inexpensive conversion kits that you can get from a local barbeque and grill retailer. A simple change of the regulator is basically all you need to do. Then all you need to do is run a gas line into your backyard from your house. I recommend that you get a professional to do this job, even though it seems small.

Running a gas line to your patio should not be done by yourself, of course unless you are a qualified contractor. Your should contact your gas company and just ask for recommendations. It won't be too expensive as it is a simple job that should really only take a few hours. Once you have converted your existing grill you'll never have to worry about running out of gas during a party again.
